They don’t call them the Kingston Community Advisory Committee for nothing, folks. Tonight at 7 p.m., the KCAC will be taking advice and giving plenty of information to the residents of North Kitsap as the group hosts its fifth annual “What’s going on in Kingston?” gathering.
The event at Kingston Junior High is set to educate everyone — even those who have moved here from across the Sound — on practically everything the community and its surrounding neighbors have to offer.
We assure you it’s plenty.
From questions concerning parks and recreational interests to answers about the plethora of civic groups that thrive in the city by the sea, 30 information booths will be staffed by people in the know at the event.
County Commissioner Chris Endresen will even be on hand to cover issues throughout Kitsap and non-profits, government agencies and everything in between from the community, county and state will also be showcased.
This is small town living at its best. One-stop education on what Kingston has to offer, if you will.
The civic heart of the community will be pumping new blood into grand old ideas and all are invited to take part in the process. What could be better?
What could be more democratic?
Kingston is definitely a town on the grow and tonight is a great opportunity to find out what the crystal ball holds or to weigh in on the issues at hand.
Get informed.
Get involved.
Make sure to set your sights on this one, or you might just be left in the dark until 2004.
