As we grieve the loss of four family members, we are consoled that we don’t grieve alone. We have each other’s backs. From all accounts, the John and Christale Careaga were part of that system of generosity. In their memory, we share this information with heartfelt gratitude.

Employees at The Point Casino & Hotel helped raised more than $111,365 for the Village Green Foundation. Those funds pay off 1/10th of the remaining debt on the community center.

Residents raised $72,635 for Neighbor Aid, ShareNet’s annual fundraising campaign. The funds will help put food on local tables, keep utilities from being shut off, help neighbors avoid eviction, and provide food for students when they are out of school.

Residents contributed $28,600 to the Poulsbo Lions Raab Foundation Bellringer Fund. Those funds will assist residents who find themselves in financial crisis.
