SEATTLE — Port Orchard resident Chris Matala has joined Northwest Kidney Centers as director of supply chain.

His responsibilities include leading procurement, supply handling, logistics and warehousing for the not-for-profit dialysis provider, which operates 15 clinics in King and Clallam counties.

Matala most recently was director of supply chain for Island Hospital. Prior to that, he was with Harrison Medical Center in a similar role. He has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and business management from Central Washington University.
