PORT ORCHARD — Large swaths of South Kitsap County remain without power Monday afternoon after a widespread snowstorm dumped up to six inches in parts of the Kitsap Peninsula.
Puget Sound Energy reported thousands of customers without power: Bremerton had 5,591 customers with no power as of 1:10 p.m. Port Orchard also had a large number with no electricity: 5,408 there and 3,735 in neighboring Olalla.
Silverdale was reported by PSE to have 558 customers without power.
In the north end of the county, the snow had less impact on PSE customers. Just over 200 customers were without power in Poulsbo as of 1:20 p.m. on Monday.
