PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap Community Resources is hosting Financial Friday, a financial resource fair, on April 21 at its headquarters in Port Orchard.

The resource fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will include experts who will be available to share information on the following topics:

How to improve your credit and reduce debt;

How to build your credit;

Banking opportunities and second-chance banking;

College opportunities — help with FAFSA;

Training and job resources;

Starting your own business;

Low-income homeownership programs;

First-time home buyer information;

Low-income free legal assistance;

and DSHS state benefits.

The Asset Building Coalition of Kitsap will offer a free credit report, credit counseling, job training resources and door prizes.
