PORT ORCHARD — The Corey’s Day Golf Tournament, an annual fundraiser event for Corey’s Day on the Farm for Special Needs Children, is planned for June 2 at McCormick Woods Golf Course.

Corey’s Day on the Farm has provided special needs students “a day on the farm” experience for more than 50 years. Nick and Coleta Corey started the event in 1968 with a few dozen students in attendance. Today, there are more than 1,000 students each day who attend the two-day event at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.

Corey’s Day Classic Golf Tournament has raised as much as $12,000 each year for Corey’s Day on the Farm. For more information, contact John Rosebeary at coreysdayclassic@gmail.com.
