POULSBO — The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club will host its 46th annual Viking Fest Lions Pancake Breakfast on May 20-21 in the North Kitsap High School cafeteria.

Hours: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

The breakfast includes all-you-can-eat pancakes with eggs, sausage, milk, juice, coffee and tea. The cost of the breakfast is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Purchase tickets at the door.

Net proceeds from this event go to scholarships for North Kitsap-area high school graduates. Plenty of free parking will be available.

Lions Club members will have a collection box at the breakfast and encourage the community to bring no-longer-needed hearing aids, used eyeglasses (including prescription and nonprescription sunglasses) and non-prescription “readers,” which will be used to help people with vision or hearing needs.

The Poulsbo Lions Club has more than 90 members and meets at 12:15 p.m. every Thursday at Poulsbo First Lutheran Church.

The Evening Pride Branch meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of the month at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church.

Traditional lunch at Sons of Norway

POULSBO — The Poulsbo Sons of Norway lodge, 18891 Front St., hosts its annual Viking Fest Traditional Norwegian Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 20, at the lodge.

The luncheon menu features open-faced sandwiches, Scandinavian desserts, lefse, pea soup and beverages. Entertainment will be provided by the lodge’s youth dancers.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 20, the lodge’s Outdoor Beer Garden will serve “Stout Viking” meatballs and Viking dogs, and beer, soda and water.
