Since we started our unique special Port Orchard Eagles “Thank You Cash Mob” in July 2013, we have thanked over 50 local merchants who have donated raffle gifts, plus silent auction items for our charity fundraisers.

The idea stemmed from a practice called “Flash Mob” where people meet at a designated place and time and all dance to the same tune. We don’t dance, but we spend money at these businesses and thank the owners, managers and employees for their support.

The core group of nine to 36 Eagles visit with one another after shopping. It is a fun networking opportunity.
