PORT ORCHARD — Because of the Labor Day holiday on Sept. 4, several changes will be made to drop-off and curbside garbage and recycling schedules.

Regular facility schedules resume after the holiday.

Recycling and garbage facilities in Hansville, Silverdale and Olalla will be closed Sept. 4. Residential and commercial collections for garbage, recycling and yard debris for Bainbridge Disposal, Waste Management and the City of Poulsbo are on their regular schedule.

Olympic View Transfer Station will be open Sept. 4.

These facilities are always closed on Mondays: Poulsbo Recycle Center, Bainbridge Island Transfer Station, and the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility.
