POULSBO — Gene and Sandra Bullock of Poulsbo celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 10.

The couple met at a college dance in Flint, Michigan, Sandra’s birthplace. Gene was born in Detroit, Michigan, and attended Kettering University in Flint. They are active in the Audubon Society, and Gene is newsletter editor and writes the Kitsap Birding column for Kitsap Weekly.
