Holcam FC, an age 50-and-over soccer team that includes Kitsap residents Tony Smith and David Vasquez, placed second at the Veterans Cup, a national soccer tournament held July 18 in Boston. The team represented Washington state in the national tournament and lost to Connecticut United, 1-0 in overtime, in the championship match.
