Freshman Akilah Austin scored the match-winner in penalty kicks for the Knights to score its first league win of the season. Shelby Cassell scored on a feed from Lucy Holloway in the 33rd minute to tie the game at 1. Holloway and Abby Dubeau converted their penalty kicks before Austin’s winner.
Central Kitsap 2, Yelm 0
Lauren Hudson’s goal in the first minute propelled the Cougars to its first league victory of the season. Grace Anderson added a goal in the second half as the Cougars dominated much of the possession time.
South Kitsap 2, Puyallup 2
The Wolves tied SPSL foe 2-2 on Tuesday thanks to goal by Taylor irby and Savannah Foster. South Kitsap was under heavy pressure for much of the game, as Puyallup got off 27 shots attempts.

Volleyball
North Kitsap 3, Kingston 0
The Vikings swept their in-district rival 25-17, 25-10, 25-7 to pick up their first league win this season. Riley Rabedeaux led North Kitsap with 10 kills, while Juliana Benson added seven and Olivia Selembo racked up 5. Setter Rae Rosenquist provided 23 assists. Noey Barreith led the way with 15 digs.
Sequim 3, Olympic 1
Natalie Lindhal led the Trojans with ten kills and eight service aces, but Olympic fell to Sequim in four sets, 26-24, 25-19, 22-25, 25-10. Setter Kaylani Riley led Olympic with 25 assists and also added 13 digs. Holly Hough topped all defenders with 18 digs.
Auburn 3, South Kitsap 1
After winning the second set to tie the match at one apiece, Auburn to the remaining two sets as South Kitsap drops to 2-2 on the season. Madison Marggraf led South Kitsap with 14 kills and Alison Cole paced the offense with 33 assists. Alyssa Gilliam added seven kills and Andrea Harteloo had four service aces.

Boys tennis
Bellarmine 5, South Kitsap 0
The Lions swept the Wolves on Tuesday, taking both singles matches and all three doubles matches. Cole Camron and Jordan Javier took the court for South Kitsap in the two singles match, but lost to Bellarmine’s Kane Vu and Bennett Morrison. In the second doubles match, Ben Staudenraus and Izaan Aamir put up a good fight against Bellarmine’s duo of Millan Sundarum and Brett Kelley, but fell 6-0, 7-5.
