BREMERTON — The City of Bremerton was recently awarded $300,000 of grant funding by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to study four specific areas for revitalization — Wheaton Way, Callow Avenue, Anderson Cove and the Downtown Core.

The intent of this grant is to facilitate economic redevelopment of contaminated (real or perceived) and underutilized properties. The city is seeking public input to help determine which sites in any of these four areas would meet the most desirable outcomes for the community.

An open house is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Norm Dicks Government Center, first floor meeting chambers.
