SILVERDALE — The Washington State Soccer Coaches Association has made its selections and six Kitsap high school soccer players have been named to the All-State teams.
Central Kitsap’s Lauren Hudson was named a 3A First-Team forward. The Seattle University-bound senior scored 19 goals this past season and was the driving force behind the Cougars run to the district playoffs, which ended with a loss against Bonney Lake. Hudson was also named the South Sound Conference co-Most Valuable Player along with Carolyn Merrick of Gig Harbor.
2A Olympic League MVP Sydney Troy, a junior defender from Olympic, and 1A Olympic League MVP Hailey Sargent, a senior from Klahowya were both given Second-Team honors in their respective classifications.
North Kitsap senior Maia Larsen and junior Mia St. Peter were named to the 2A Honorable Mention team. The Vikings advanced to the 2A state quarterfinals where they were knocked off by Liberty.
