One-way foot ferry tickets now sold at Bremerton dock

Ticket vending machines are in the upper waiting area of the Bremerton dock.

KITSAP COUNTY — Kitsap Transit said Feb. 20 it plans to begin selling one-way tickets for the Annapolis and Port Orchard foot ferries from ticket vending machines, located in the upper waiting area of the Bremerton dock.

Tickets will begin vending machine sales on Feb. 22.

Kitsap Transit spokesman Sanjay Bhatt said ticket buyers are urged to purchase two tickets if they are to make a round trip. Tickets cannot be purchased with credit cards in Annapolis or Port Orchard.

The vending machines only accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards, Bhatt said. Adult full-fare tickets or reduced-fare tickets (reduced-fare ID is required) can be purchased. Tickets are valid within 60 days of purchase.
