Dozens of canoe families arrived on the shores of the Suquamish on Wednesday afternoon as part of the annual Tribal Journey. After requesting permission to land, they were treated to a night of sharing songs, dances and meals at the House of Awakened Culture. On Thursday, the canoe pullers returned to the sea and continued their journey to Puyallup.
