POULSBO — A house fire was reported at around 3:45 p.m. Monday.
Crews from multiple districts arrived on scene on NW Cedar Lane to find black smoke billowing out of the attic of a residence.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic, and the home escaped with minor smoke and water damage, according to the Poulsbo Fire Department.
The father of the family that lives in the home said he came home to find smoke coming from the top of the house. Nobody was home at the time the fire started.
