PORT ORCHARD — The South Kitsap School District’s twin capital projects proposals on the election ballot in November will be the subject of discussion at a Port Orchard City Hall public hearing at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
The City Council is inviting school district residents to voice their support or dissent of the district’s Proposition 1, a bond measure to build a second high school, and Proposition 2, a capital projects levy for safety, security, selected capital projects and technology for instruction.
The public hearing is set for the Robert G. Geiger Council Chambers, 216 Prospect St., in Port Orchard.
