The South Kitsap boys and girls cross country teams have held steady in the newest edition of the Washington State Cross Country Coaches Association Poll.
The girls team has been ranked at No. 2 in 4A each week so far and the boys have been in the seventh place since week two, where both remain.
The Klahowya boys made the biggest gain, moving up three spots to No. 5 in 1A. And for the first time this season, the Klahowya girls made the top ten, sitting at No. 7 in 1A.
The Central Kitsap girls remain ranked No. 10 in 3A.
South Kitsap takes part in the Sunfair Invitational in Yakima at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Then on Wednesday, Oct. 3, the cross country team takes on Bellarmine at 5 p.m.
