KITSAP QUILTERS: Kitsap Quilters will host “It’s Rainin’ Quilts” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 at President’s Hall at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. TAX PREPARATION: Tax counseling requires classroom training, to be presented in early January and the successful completion of the IRS certification open book exam. There will be several Tax-Aide sites throughout the county to assist taxpayers from Feb. 1 to April 15. Volunteers are assigned to a site under the leadership of a local coordinator. Ongoing events like group meetings will be included in the “Ongoing” part of the calendar, which will appear on as space allows basis. Everything else will be listed by date or as “Upcoming.”
