Daffodil Day returns to Poulsbo Saturday, Nov. 3

That time of year has returned, when volunteers in Poulsbo pick up their trowels and head down to city hall to get their hands dirty planting daffodil bulbs all over the city. Daffodil Day is upon us once more.

On Saturday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. volunteers who gather at the Poulsbo City Hall parking garage will have the opportunity to make an investment for a brighter tomorrow. Planting daffodils in the fall is a surefire way to ensure that come springtime, the colorful flowers will be erupting to bring some much-needed color after another one of Washington’s characteristic gray winters.

It might be a good idea to bring something warm to wear as well, according to Poulsbo Mayor Becky Erickson previous year’s plantings have been met with less-than-favorable weather.
