Ram butts South Kitsap weed shop

No damage to the building, no injuries to the driver.

PORT ORCHARD — A truck driven on Nov. 8 by a 74-year-old Port Orchard man rammed into a South Kitsap building that houses a cannabis business.

The driver, who wasn’t injured, was determined to not have been under the influence of alcoholic intoxicants or narcotics — including marijuana. Deputy Scott Wilson of the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said the department’s traffic investigator also reported there wasn’t any damage to the building at 1762 Village Lane in South Kitsap or the business, known as Kitsap Cannabis.

It wasn’t reported whether the vehicle, a white 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck, sustained damage.

Wilson said that since the accident occurred on private property, the sheriff’s office did not complete a Washington State Patrol collision report. He said it is up to the driver and property owner to sort out repair or reimbursement issues involving the vehicle and building.
