The Handlers’ Racing Association, dba Bremerton Raceway is proud to bring drag racing to Kitsap County at the inactive runway of the Bremerton International Airport for the 55th consecutive year.
The Bremerton Raceway 2014 race season will officially start Friday, April 11, with gates open at 3 p.m.0 for Street Legals and a Test & Tune for all vehicles. Racing starts at 4 p.m. and runs until dusk. The gates will close at 9 p.m. Tech cards are $27 for car and driver.
General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for active duty Military and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Purchase your Bremerton Raceway number for $5 in the Pro Shop at the base of the tower. While you are there, ask them about the 100 MPH Club.
Shifter Series and a Car Club Challenge will be Saturday, April 12. Northwest Nostalgia Tour will be qualifying. Junior Dragsters will be having meet #1. Tech cards are $40 for car and driver and $35 for Junior car and driver. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. and racing starts at 9 a.m. Junior’s time trials start about noon and the gates will close at 8 p.m.
There will be an E.T. Series #1 on Sunday, April 13. Northwest Nostalgia Tour will have meet # 1. This is the first Team Bremerton point’s race of the 2014 season. The E.T. Finals are at Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn Oregon this year, so sign up in the Pro Shop and start accumulating your points.
Tech cards (car and driver) are $40.00 for Sportsman and Motorcycle, $50 for Pro, $55 for Super Pro and $25 for High School. General admission is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for active duty Military and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Time trials will start for all brackets at 9 a.m. Eliminations will be at approximately 1 p.m.
