PORT ORCHARD — Three seats on the South Kitsap School District’s board of directors are up for election this fall.

The board seats up this year serve District 1 (Port Orchard, Annapolis, Old Belfair Highway and Gorst), currently represented by Eric Gattenby; District 2 (Manchester, Colby, Long Lake and Waterman areas), now represented by Keith Garton; and District 5 (Sidney, McCormick Woods, Burley and Olalla), represented by Greg Wall.

Candidates must file for office between May 13-17 at the Kitsap County Auditor’s Office Election Division, 619 Division St. in Port Orchard. To be legally eligible, a candidate must be a registered voter and a resident of the director area for which he or she files. All seats are four-year terms.
