PORT ORCHARD — Reliable Storage has expanded its Port Orchard facility by adding and opening six new buildings at its 8233 SE Spring Creek Rd.
The new building expansion has added a total of 127 units, said Jim Helfrick, senior operations manager with the company.
He said the new units offer keyless hallway entry, all-metal construction for safety and security, and temperature control to protect sensitive valuables. Helfrick said the site has the highest percentage of direct, exterior-facing units in South Kitsap, which provide easy drive-up access.
The units feature a range of unit sizes — from 5-by-5 feet to 20-by-30 feet — and closed-circuit TV monitors for the onsite staff to view all activity across the facility.
“Our new Port Orchard units have built-in motion sensors, all-LED lighting and energy-efficient heat pumps,” said owner and manager Andrew Sherrard.
Reliable Storage is staging its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 12. The event will feature a community food drive to benefit the South Kitsap Helpline Food Bank, refreshments and a raffle for a gift basket drawing that will take place on May 1.
The company has seven locations in Kitsap County, including sites in Kingston, Poulsbo, Bainbridge, Silverdale and Bremerton. For more information, contact onsite managers Juan and Jody at 360-443-1690 or visit ReliableStorage.com
