An unexpected kind gesture happened to us on Valentine’s Day.

I am 70 years old and my friend Betty is 88. We were enjoying a very nice dinner at That One Place in Port Orchard.

A cheerful family oriented restaurant. I had just commented to my friend that I did not recognize anyone there. The very nice waitress approached us and told us that our dinners had been paid for by a secret admirer.

We were so pleasantly surprised. It made our night. So kind of whoever you are. It was a lovely gesture that we will talk about for years.
