A no-contact advisory issued Thursday for a swimming beach at Manchester’s Pomeroy Park has been lifted, according to the Kitsap Public Health District.
The advisory was initially issued due to high bacteria levels in the water. Additional analysis of water samples gathered Friday found bacteria levels were below the state’s advisory threshold, indicating a reduced risk to human health.
Warning signs have been removed from the beach.
