PORT ORCHARD — The popular Bay Street shopping event “Ladies Night Out” will take place next Friday in Port Orchard’s downtown shopping district.

As with past events, the promotion will include lots of giveaways, gift baskets, goodies and shopping sales, said Bay Street merchant Bobbie Stewart, who is a member of the Port Orchard Bay Street Association.

“We’re expecting a large number of shoppers on Friday, just as we’ve had previously,” Stewart said.

The event will run 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 7. Vendors also will be on-site at the Port Orchard Market, she added.
