A 46-year-old Poulsbo woman was arrested June 6, after allegedly crashing into multiple cars while under the influence.

According to a release from the Poulsbo Police Department, Beatrice Berlin failed to stop at an intersection in the 18900 block of Front Street in Poulsbo and collided with another vehicle. According to the release, Berlin is alleged to have then backed up her vehicle at a high rate of speed and collided into a second, unoccupied vehicle.

After striking the second vehicle, Berlin came to a stop off the road in some nearby bushes. After speaking with Berlin, officers suspected that she had been driving while impaired. A field sobrity test confirmed the officers’ suspicions and officers arrested the driver without incident.
