City of Bremerton announces times to legally discharge fireworks

Fireworks are not allowed to be legally ignited until July 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The City of Bremerton announced Wednesday that fireworks will not be allowed to be legally discharged until July 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., even though firework stands may sell them starting June 28.

The city advises locals to report fireworks being discharged outside of legal times by calling 360-307-5811 and try to provide a specific address where the fireworks are being lit off. If residents believe the fireworks are posing an imminent threat of fire or injury, the city recommends you call 911.

It is also possible to report illegal use of fireworks by using the Bremerton Police Department’s Report An Issue online form.
