The body of a 54-year-old male found Sunday morning on a beach near the Kitsap 9/11 Memorial at Evergreen Rotary Park in Bremerton has been identified as Chris Allen Conradi. According to the Kitsap County Coroner, the cause of death was determined to be saltwater drowning.

Bremerton Police Department Detective Keith Sargent said he was called to the scene around 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning and found the man with his clothes and a cooler filled with “freshly purchased beer” beside him. Foul play was not suspected, Sargent said.

On July 2 an 18-year-old male was found deceased in a field near NW Hosman Circle and Old Frontier Rd. NW, just west of Silverdale, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. A Facebook fundraiser started by the mother of the victim to pay for funeral expenses, stated that the death was a suicide.
