PORT ORCHARD — A second suspect in the April 29 burglary of a Gorst firearms store was arrested July 25 at his home in Black Diamond, King County.

Charles Wilbur-Williams III, 20, was taken into custody without incident around 2:30 p.m. by deputy marshals with the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.

Kitsap County Sheriff’s detectives responded to Black Diamond after receiving information about the suspect and took custody of Wilbur-Williams. He was booked into Kitsap County Jail on an outstanding arrest warrant from July 19 for first-degree burglary and theft of a firearm. Bail was set at $750,000.

Wilbur-Williams is the second suspect apprehended in the investigation into the forced entry and theft of approximately 90 handguns and rifles from Boerner’s Firearms, located on State Highway 3 West in the Gorst area of South Kitsap.

The first arrest occurred June 29 when 17-year-old Chrissayn Jay Louis Borwieck was arrested in Las Vegas by the U.S. marshals task force and Las Vegas Police Department.

Borwieck will soon be extradited to Kitsap County, according to the sheriff’s office.
