One passenger sustained minor injuries following a three-car crash on Wednesday according to the Washington State Patrol.
At approximately 4:18 p.m. on Oct. 2, an accident involving three vehicles occurred at the intersection of Lemolo Shore Drive and SR 305.
A 2009 Ford Focus driven by a 19-year-old Kingston man was headed northbound on Lemolo Shore Drive and failed to yield while crossing SR 305 to Totten Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The oncoming vehicle, a 2003 Toyota Corolla, a 26-year-old Bremerton woman was headed northbound on SR 305 when she struck the right side of the Focus, causing it to spin and hit a third vehicle: a 2009 Subaru Outback driven by a 31-year-old Bremerton woman, who was traveling southbound on Totten Road.
A passenger in the Focus, a 19-year-old from Poulsbo, sustained minor injuries, but was not transported to any area hospitals.
All three vehicles were towed to impound lots in Silverdale, though Schmidt’s vehicle sustained minor damage. Vallejo and Frias’s vehicles were totaled.
