A child sex charge was filed against an Ollala man Nov. 10 in Kitsap County District Court.
Edward Franklin Cousineau, 40, was charged with first-degree child molestation.
According to charging papers, a 13-year-old female told another student at her school about being sexually abused on Nov. 5. The student told the school counselor who contacted the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. The victim told investigators the abuse had been going on for about two years.
The suspect was interviewed by investigators on Nov. 6 and 7, then arrested and booked into the Kitsap County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000.
The following charges were filed Nov. 1-18 in Kitsap County District Court:
• Nov. 18: Skylar William Ridgeway, 20, Port Orchard, second-degree burglary; Gale Dawn Clark, 41, Port Orchard, possession of methamphetamine and violation of a court order (gross misdemeanor); Paul Fraser Schultz, 46, Port Orchard, possession of methamphetamine.
• Nov. 17: Jacob Ryley Koch Brigham, 26, Port Orchard, driving under the influence and third-degree driving while license suspended or revoked.
• Nov. 14: Brett Melvin Wheeler, 44, Port Orchard, fourth-degree assault.
• Nov. 13: Melvin Harold Fingarson, III, 24, Port Orchard, possession of heroin.
• Nov. 12: Austin Carl Edwin Lowe, 21, Port Orchard, reckless driving; Deron Thomas Farrell, 48, South Colby, second-degree burglary and second-degree driving while license suspended or revoked; Emi Danielle Beaton, 26, Port Orchard, fourth-degree assault.
• Nov. 10: Mark Lewis Hatfield, 40, Port Orchard, making a false or misleading statement to public servant; Jeremey M. Farley, 35, Port Orchard, violation of a court order (gross misdemeanor); Leslie Howard Sharp, 57, Port Orchard, harassment (felony)-threat to kill;
• Nov. 7: Tiffany Dawn Doll, 42, Port Orchard, second-degree theft and second-degree possession of stolen property.
• Nov. 4: Isaac Lloyd Hovermale, 25, Port Orchard, violation of court order (gross misdemeanor)
• Nov. 3: Zachery Michel Burchard, 25, Port Orchard, driving under the influence, operation of a motor vehicle without ignition interlock device and third-degree driving while license suspended or revoked; James Allen Jacobs, 42, Port Orchard, driving under the influence, hit and run (property damage) and third-degree malicious mischief (gross misdemeanor); Matthew Ray Sewell, 19, Port Orchard, minor in possession of consuming alcohol; Shannon Elizabeth Warner, 38, Port Orchard, violation of court order (gross misdemeanor).
