NEW ORLEANS — Rosella F. Bissonnette of Kingston graduated from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a bachelor of science in public health.
Tulane awarded degrees to more than 2,800 graduates on May 18 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The ceremony featured His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Tibet, as keynote speaker.
Honorary degree recipients included U.S. Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey and legendary musicians Allen Toussaint and Dr. John.
