Boeing must make the hard choice

Don Brunell’s column Nov. 22 on Boeing’s resiliency is very informative and counts the cost of a shoddy decision making nightmare that will dog them for decades. Inept leadership has never been a Boeing passenger concern before. I’d highly recommend Boeing move it’s headquarters back to the Pacific Northwest. A military phrase: “virtual presence = no presence” applies here. Boeing needs to send a message to the world that they are deadly serious and put the headquarters back where it belongs. Building incredibly safe airplanes is in the DNA that began on the shore of the Duwamish. And history has proven the finest Boeing leaders have come up through the ranks. Do the hard thing Boeing because it’s the right thing.
