Arrest warrant issued for Bremerton man accused of child rape

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for a 24-year-old Bremerton man accused of rape of a child in the first degree.

In October 2019 KSCO Detectives received a referral from Child Protective Services in Texas, advising of a 14-year-old victim who told officers that she had been raped by her babysitter, Christian Aguas Ramirez, when she lived with her father in Bremerton over five years ago.

According to court documents, deputies were provided a copy of the interview of the victim conducted by authorities in Texas. In the video, the victim recounted multiple instances of sexual assault, inappropriate messages, and rape that occurred at both the residence where she lived with her father and in Ramirez’s residence and via text message, when the victim was between the ages of eight and 10 years old.

The victim’s father had reportedly seen the inappropriate text messages and confronted Ramirez at his workplace, warning him to stay away from his children and that if he heard Ramirez had contacted anyone else’s children he would report him to the police. Ramirez reportedly did not deny the allegations when confronted, apologized and stayed away.

If caught, Ramirez bail is expected to be set at $100,000.
