POULSBO — In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and emergency measures being taken statewide, Fishline will be operating with modified services beginning Monday.

Client services will be done remotely via telephone and volunteers will be distributing boxes of food instead of having people physically present in their market.

Second Season, Fishline’s thrift store, will also be closed beginning Monday.

“Fishline has been helping our neighbors in need for nearly 63 years,” said Robbin Rae, Development and Public Relations Manager for Fishline. “We are committed to providing necessary services to the North Kitsap community during this challenging time.”

During this difficult time, Fishline is encouraging monetary donations instead of food. Those looking to donate directly to Fishline can do so here.

Fishline is also looking for more short-term and long-term volunteers to help with the packing and distribution of food to its clients as volunteers who may be at risk or not feeling well have been asked to stay home. You can email volunteer@fishlinehelps.org if you are interested in volunteering.
