No new cases of COVID-19 were added by the Kitsap Public Health District in its Friday update, leaving the countywide total at 174 cases.

A total of 9,145 residents have tested negative — of those tested, the positive test rate has dropped to about 2 percent. Twelve new cases have been reported in the last two weeks.

Of the 165 cases, 12 have been reported on Bainbridge Island, 56 in Bremerton, 30 in Central Kitsap, 35 in North Kitsap and 41 in South Kitsap. Two coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed by Kitsap Public Health District as well.

The age breakdown for confirmed cases is as follows:

0 – 19: 8

20 – 29: 31

30 – 39: 22

40 – 49: 31

50 – 59: 43

60 – 69: 19

70 – 79: 14

80 and older: 6
