Public meeting tonight for possible renaming of downtown Bremerton Street

The Public Works & Utilities will hold a public meeting this evening to discuss the proposed renaming of 7th Street between Pacific and Warren Avenues to Dr. ML King Way. The meeting is at 5 p.m.

The Public Works & Utilities will hold a public meeting this evening to discuss the proposed renaming of 7th Street between Pacific and Warren Avenues to Dr. ML King Way. The meeting will be held in the First Floor Meeting Chambers of the Norm Dicks Government Center on 345 6th Street. At this meeting, staff intends to gather comments for the City Council to consider when they vote on the Resolution to rename the street.

In addition to the August 28 public meeting, this issue will also be discussed at the following meetings:
