Carol was born May 15, 1934 in Seattle, Washington at Providence hospital. She grew up in Lynden, Washington and then Port Angeles, Washington.

She graduated from Roosevelt High, Port Angeles in 1952. Shortly there after she met the love of her life, James Lynn LaGrandeur. They were married in the summer of 1952.

They began their life together in LA, California. Moved back to Washington in 1958, where they raised their 6 children on Bainbridge Island.

Carol’s main career was that of an Administrative Assistant for the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.

Upon retiring, she and Jim moved to Lake Chelan where they enjoyed 20 glorious years of golf, gardening and meeting new friends.

Carol and Jim moved back to Poulsbo in 2011 to be closer to their family.

Carol enjoyed gardening, golfing, entertaining and mostly her family. She is survived by her six children; Rich LaGrandeur wife Sally, Greg LaGrandeur wife Janette, Tim LaGrandeur wife Marie, Michele Burnett husband John, Annette LaGrandeur, Nancy Loring husband Fred, and two sisters; Nancy Berry and Marilyn Williams, numerous nieces, nephews, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
