Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Kay Rader passed away in the early morning of May 31, 2021.

Kay was born in Huxley, Iowa on September 21, 1941. She was raised by Henry and Margaret Sielaff in Buckeye, Iowa before joining the US Navy in 1962 and serving until 1966. Stationed in San Diego, California she met and married Samuel Walter Rader in 1964. Together they traveled the United States living in Rhode Island, Virginia, Missouri, California and Washington.

Kay was a devoted mother of 3, Kristina (Brian) Goodfellow, Samuel (Michelle) W. Rader Jr and Kelly Rader. She enjoyed volunteering at elementary schools and with Red Hats. Kay worked locally in Poulsbo as an administrative assistant for several companies and was a member of Gateway Fellowship Church.

Kay enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Morgan & Logan Goodfellow and Ava & Max Rader.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings.
