This Peninsula area is very fortunate, it is a lovely place to live, and it is represented in Olympia by an exceptional State Sen. Jan Angel.

I have always been impressed by the dedication which Senator Angel has to her job in Olympia.

As a retired teacher and a past president of the Tacoma Education Association, I have had many occasions to discuss education issues with Sen. Angel. She believes that strong, well-funded schools are the foundation of our democracy. Education issues have always been a top priority for her, and she listens carefully to any concerns.

We need reliable, dedicated public officials who will listen to the voters, place controls on spending, and keep our education system a top priority in our state. I know that Sen. Angel is that person.
