The Port Orchard Eagles 2338 is hosting a Country Hoe Down and Chili Cook-off 4 p.m. July 7 at the Port Orchard Eagles Hall.

An entry fee of $10 is required for chili cook-off participants, with celebrity judges Tim Matthes, Jan Angel and local military personnel awarding the chili cook-off winners. The Renegade Train Band of Port Orchard will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Cost for attendees is $5 and includes a meal of hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad.
