A 25-year-old Port Orchard man who allegedly eluded police on his motorcycle in early October was arrested Saturday  at a Bremerton rugby match.

The suspect was taken into custody by Port Orchard police after he was identified as the man who fled from officers on a Suzuki motorcycle on the morning of Oct. 2, according to a police report.

The suspect sped away after he was spotted traveling about 80 mph near the intersection of Geiger and Blueberry roads.

During the pursuit, the suspect crashed his motorcycle. Though he escaped at the time, physical evidence at the scene was later linked to the suspect’s Facebook page.

After over a month of attempts to locate the suspect, police received a tip he would be at the rugby match.

The suspect was charged with eluding a pursuing police vehicle, a felony.
