Beloved “Bo” Robert William Last passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Michael’s Hospital in Silverdale on April 1st, 2023. His passing was sudden and left his family in deep shock.

Bo’s work ethic and communication skills enabled him to be a successful small business owner many times over during his early days. Later on, he determined to pursue training on a culinary path, and became a chef at Oahu’s Hilton Hawaiian Village. His love for Hawaii was vast, and he stayed in beautiful Hawaii for over thirty years. After he met his future wife, Lani, the couple moved to Bainbridge Island in 2002. Upon retiring, Bo’s involvement in community services became his priority. He enjoyed feeding hundreds of volunteers at the Rotary Auction, doing many behind-the-scenes works at BI Senior Community Center, and meeting the needs of the hungry homeless in Seattle with his signature chili, etc. He joined Tsunami relief efforts in Japan and spent several months helping the victims there. Bo’s joy of helping others was genuine and tireless. His community has been saddened and misses his presence.
