Kilmer slated to hold six town halls throughout the region

In an effort to hear directly from the people he represents, Congressman Derek Kilmer will be holding six town halls around the region next week, including one in Bremerton. The town halls are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.

In an effort to hear directly from the people he represents, Congressman Derek Kilmer will be holding six town halls around the region next week, including one in Bremerton. The town halls are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.

The Bremerton town hall is slated for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the Admiral Theatre, located at 515 Pacific Ave.

Doors open a half hour before the start of each town hall. Here’s a schedule for Congressman Kilmer’s other town halls:

A Port Angeles town hall is scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Peninsula College in the Little Theater (In Building J, the Pirate Union Building), located at 1502 E Lauridsen Blvd.

In Port Townsend, the town hall will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Fort Worden State Park Conference Center, Fort Warden Commons in Company A, located at 200 Battery Way. Those in attendance at this meeting will be deemed exempt from access/parking fees from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The Bainbridge Island town hall will run from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at IslandWood, located at 4450 Blakely Ave.

An Aberdeen town hall will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, at the Rotary Log Pavilion, located at 1401 Sargent Blvd.

In Tacoma, the town hall will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Tacoma Community College Auditorium (Building 2), located at 6501 S. 19th St.
