Jim Aho of Illahee recently sent in these photos of wildlife in that area.

A Canada goose and its goslings are shown in one picture at Illahee State Park. Coyotes, raccoons, eagles and even seagulls prey on them so there aren’t many around.

A state Department of Fish and Wildlife photo shows a bobcat, which have been seen near the state park, port dock and preserve. A bear has also been seen in the area previously.
