There is a crisis in funding K-12 education in Washington state. As such, I am asking our community to do what you can to support Central Kitsap schools
I am very excited to announce the successful completion of the Central Kitsap Youth Volunteer Corps’ first project, the “Fairgrounds Paint & Plant,” which engaged participants in various projects at the Fairgrounds, most notably the planting of a rain garden that will help to reduce flooding from runoff and improve water quality in surrounding areas.
By now our entire community will have received ballots for the Feb. 8 election for the Central Kitsap School District’s capital projects levy. This initiative has my strongest support.
