No one has been injured in a five-acre wildland fire, east of Neat Avenue between Kingston and Jefferson Beach that started around 8 a.m. Aug. 8 in Kingston.
The fire, started around 8:35 a.m. Aug. 7 on Early Dawn Lane off Miller Bay Road, burned about 900 square feet of vegetation before being put out by North Kitsap Fire & Rescue (NKF&R) crews.

The driver of a truck sustained minor injuries in a rollover vehicle crash July 7 on Highway 305, near Sandy Hook Road. The crash, which occurred around 2 p.m., involved only one vehicle and resulted in the truck spinning around and rolling over. The driver, unidentified at this time, was alone in the truck, which was hauling an attached trailer filled with wood.
